Grace Lam has worked in the international fashion industry for over 25 years as a Fashion Editor, Stylist and Fashion Creative Consultant. Grace has resided and worked in cities spanning from London, New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Shanghai to Beijing. She earned a First-Class degree honours in graphic design at the famed Central Saint Martin’s College Of Art & Design. Beginning her career at the iconic i-D magazine in London working with Edward Enninful OBE (Former Editor-In-Chief of British VOGUE). She worked with industry elites including Hollywood actors Jude Law, Hugh Grant, renowned creatives such as Paolo Roversi, Craig McDean, Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz, Steven Klein, Pat McGrath, Eugene Souleiman and supermodels including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bündchen, Liu Wen, Du Juan and Linda Evangelista. She has also worked extensively on runway shows in London and Milan during international fashion weeks.
In 2005 she relocated to Shanghai then Hong Kong, where she became part of the original team to launch VOGUE China. For a decade, as the magazine’s Senior Fashion Style Editor working with both local and global celebrities including Cannes Best Actress Maggie Cheung, Grammy Awards nominee Lana Del Rey, British ‘IT-girl’ Alexa Chung, the late Zaha Hadid, Mario Sorrenti, Charlotte Tilbury MBE, Shu Qi, Fan Bing Bing, Chris Li Yu Chun, Wing Shya and Daniel Wu. She has created many distinctive VOGUE events, advertorial campaigns and exhibitions during her tenure at Condé Nast China.
Grace’s work has appeared in renowned publications including VOGUE (Italia, China, Japan, Australia), Harper’s Bazaar, Architectural Digest, Tatler, i-D, Numero and Madame Figaro. Grace’s clients include Estee Lauder, Dyson, Huawei, M.A.C Cosmetics, PWC, CitiBank Asia, Dior, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Van Cleef & Arpels, Sotheby’s, Canon, Porsche and Mandarin Hotel Group. Renowned for strengthening brand–customer relationships and driving commercial results, Grace has curated and hosted many retail brand events for leading fashion and jewellery houses.
After a decade shaping fashion and brand narratives at VOGUE China, Grace founded her creative consultancy GRACE LAM STYLE in Hong Kong, later relaunching it in Australia. She works with a diverse international clientele across all ages and life stages, with a particular passion for supporting women navigating midlife transitions through confidence-building style and image direction. Grace frequently collaborates with her husband, fashion, portrait and celebrity photographer Jason Capobianco, to produce social media mini-series, editorial content and advertising projects.
A respected voice in menopause advocacy, Grace spoke at Australia’s first Senate Hearing on menopause in 2024 and in 2025, she was invited by the Minister for Health, the Hon Mark Butler MP, to contribute to a parliamentary discussion focused on improving health outcomes for Australian menopausal women.
Now based in Melbourne, Grace continues to lead fashion-forward creative work. A devoted Formula One fan (team Sir Lewis Hamilton), she’s thrilled to be closer to the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit. Connect with Grace to collaborate on creative ideas that influence culture and drive impact.
